The entire employee-side experience takes place in an HTML5 data entry interface – and is completed within seconds. Using the interface, employees can take photos of their documents with their smartphone or tablet after prior authorization and then upload the photos for further processing. Based on a stored set of rules, the scanned text is automatically converted using OCR and the required document data fed into the system. In a matter of seconds, a digital copy of the document is made available to all process participants.
Compared to sending documents via e-mail, the personal data is also processed by the software in accordance with EU-GDPR regulations. If necessary, the recorded data is made available to other parties or for other processes. For this purpose, the document is converted into a long-term archiving format.
